Biography of Joseph Morgan

Morgan was born on May 16, 1981, in London, but grew up in Swansea for 11 years. He is the oldest child in the family. Morriston Comprehensive School was his alma mater. After that, a BTEC Performing Arts programme at Gorseinon College (now Gower College Swansea). In his late teens, he returned to London to study at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Morgan met actress Persia White on the set of The Vampire Diaries. The pair started dating in 2011 and got engaged in 2014. On July 5, 2014, they married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. He became White’s stepfather after marrying White’s daughter.
